The Minnesota Twins remain committed to trying to keep Major League Baseball in Minnesota.

We appreciate the efforts of Mayor Norm Coleman and the City of Saint Paul to advance a plan to keep the Twins in the state, and enthusiastically support his public efforts to put a Twins initiative on a voter referendum.

We will continue to listen to the City of Minneapolis or any others who may come forward with another plan aimed at keeping the Twins in Minnesota.

All these efforts are much appreciated and it is our hope that the results will be successful.
